Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:

Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.

Open Safari Preferences:

Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.

Safety Patrol

The Safety Club at Freedom Elementary was established in August 2017 under the direction of Officer Josefina Casarez.

The primary purpose of bringing this program to Freedom Elementary was to enhance and promote safety for our students. In addition, the program promotes the development of leadership and citizenship skills in each and every safety patrol officer that patrols our halls. Students are nominated by their teachers based on a set of leadership skills set forth by the Officer in command. Students who are selected to become safety patrol officers take an oath at the beginning of the school year to serve as a role model for other students here at our campus and at other elementary schools as well.
