Accelerated Reader Program: Fostering a Love for Reading 📚
Welcome to an exciting new school year! We are thrilled to introduce the Accelerated Reader (AR) program, a rewarding initiative designed to inspire students to read more and discover the joy of books. This program goes beyond just reading; it's about celebrating your achievements and helping you become a lifelong reader.
Here's what you can look forward to:
-
Accumulate Points & Earn Rewards: You'll earn points for every book you read and successfully pass a comprehension quiz on. Your hard work will be recognized with our "Top AR Student of the Month" award, beginning in October.
-
AR Hall of Fame: As you reach key milestones, you'll be inducted into the AR Hall of Fame! This special recognition is for students who achieve 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 points and beyond, while maintaining an 85% minimum average on your quizzes.
-
Annual AR Field Trip: The ultimate reward awaits! Students who reach their yearly goal of 150 points with an 85% minimum average will be invited to a special AR field trip to Peter Piper Pizza at the end of the school year. 🍕
